Anyway, the library has an amazing summer reading program and we have had such a great time participating this year. The theme for this year was BUGS! Now the kids thought this was great. They learned about different kinds of bugs, how to collect bugs, they even had worm races (with these disgusting huge worms). You should see these kids now--they are constantly collecting bugs. Every single water bottle has to be saved so they can put a bug in it. They even put ants in the bottles. Then of course they want to bring them inside the house. The crazy thing is then we are required to feed them meals and go get more books about the particular bug so that we know how to properly care for the lovely things. (and I thought it was pretty good if the kids and the dog made it through the day fed and alive)
These are pictures of the kids with their roley poley bugs. They were trying to help Rylan join in the joy of bugs.

Hey Kellee and Court-
Looks like fun...I know TaKara will be right behind these guys loving bugs too ;) Our library had the same theme this summer too. Well I was stopping by to ask you how do you change your layout/background? Also Kellee here is the site to find an eye care professional in your area that will check Averie's eyes between the age of 6 and 12 months for free. infantsee.org
Kids love bugs! I am always worried that Andrew is going to pick up a scorpion and get stung. The library is a great place, I just don't get there very often because I feel like I am playing tag with Andrew the whole time. You are awesome for taking your four kids!
Oh your kids would love it out here. There are so many bugs, animals etc...We have a lot of frogs around here, so every night we have to take Collin out on the driveway to look for frogs! We also have a lot of armadillo’s, I am trying to get a picture of one, but they are really fast runners!!
